Table booking

Show free times from the restaurant’s hours and capacity, then take table bookings, free or paid.

  1. Check the setting

    GET /v1/restaurant → booking.enabled, maxPeople, daysAhead, price.

  2. Show free times

    GET /v1/reservations/availability?date=…&people=… → show the slots with available: true.

  3. Book

    POST /v1/reservations with date, time, people, customer and an Idempotency-Key. The booking is PENDING (or CONFIRMED if the restaurant auto-confirms).

  4. Follow up

    GET /v1/reservations/{id} or the trackingUrl. Customers can cancel with POST /v1/reservations/{id}/cancel until the cut-off.

If the restaurant charges for bookings, availability returns price (per booking or per person) and mode: DEDUCT (an advance taken off the final bill) or FEE. Online payment of booking prices is coming next; until then the booking records the amount as due.
